Letter to the Editor: Seeking MHS Graduates
Manitouwadge High School Graduates: Where Are They Now?
My name is Caroline Goulding and I need your help!
I’ve been working at the high school for 26 years and have had the pleasure of seeing a great number of students graduate and move on to realize their dream. Some reached their goal in one straight path while others took various routes to get there.
If you are a graduate of MHS we would like to hear from you because at the high school we have erected a bulletin board in the hallway that boasts the theme ‘Where are they now?’ We would like to know about your life’s vocation and how you reached it. On an 8 ½ x 11 sheet we would like to display a picture of you (then and/ or now) along with a little bio. We’d like to know what year you graduated; where you went from high school (eg. colleges and/or universities, etc); the path you took to reach your goal and what you are doing now. We will display your presentation on our board.
We are asking this not only because we want to show you how proud we are of you – we also want your achievements to encourage the students in our hallways today. Growing up in a small town and attending a small school are certainly not barriers in any way. Your story could mean that other students will realize that dreams can be fulfilled and goals can be reached!
We would like to encourage anyone who knows of someone who graduated MHS to please spread the word about this exciting project at the school.
If you would like more explanation of what we are doing, please call us at the school – 807-826-3241, ext. 244.
