GREENSTONE, ON – December 23, 2014 at 8:03am Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment was notified of a Break and Enter into a residence in Geraldton located in the area of First Street West and Third Avenue South West. The investigation led to Stephan CYR a local 41 year old male resident from Geraldton being arrested in relation to this occurrence. Police obtained and executed a search warrant for CYR’s residence. Following the execution of the search warrant CYR was charged with the following Criminal Code offences;
- Break and Enter a Residence
- Theft Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Trespassing at Night
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana Under 30 grams
The accused was held at the OPP Greenstone Detachment pending a Bail Hearing.
