Family Literacy Fun at MPS. Photo MPS
MANITOUWADGE, ON – January 27th was designated as Family Literacy Day so the students and staff at Manitouwadge Public School once again jumped at the opportunity to show off just how much fun reading can be! The students met in the library and were organized into groups of ‘young’ and ‘old’. As in the past this has proven to be very successful – with the older students leading the younger ones into some creative and educational exercises.
Our school boasts many activities to encourage the value and entertainment of reading among students in and out of the school environment. Seeing interaction between the students of all grades confirms their excitement to read as well as promoting comradery in the school community. Another day and lesson enjoyed at MPS!
