Is it just me, or is there a serious shortage of quality war movies these days? War movies typically offer viewers loads of action, as well as historical lessons that are relevant even in today’s society as many brave men and women continue to fight for our freedom. Not surprisingly, people started talking when it was announced that Brad Pitt would star in a war themed movie titled Fury. On October 17th, Fury opened in theatres across North America and grossed a very impressive 23.7 million dollars over the course of opening weekend. With a total of over 85.7 million dollars in ticket sales, Fury makes it’s long awaited DVD and Blu-Ray debut tomorrow along with seven other new titles;

Breathe In: starring Guy Pearce and Felicity Jones– When a foreign exchange student arrives in a small upstate New York town, she causes challenges to the dynamics of her host family’s relationships and ultimately changes their lives forever. (Drama/Romance) (DVD)
Reach Me: starring Sylvester Stallone and Kyra Sedgwick – A motivational book written by a mysterious man quickly gains popularity inspiring a group of very different people from all walks of life to confront their fears and re-evaluate their life choices. (Drama) (DVD)
Open Windows: starring Elijah Wood – A jilted fan soon finds himself involved in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse after he accepts the opportunity to spy on his favorite actress via his laptop. (Thriller) (DVD)

Dying Light: An action survival game presented in first-person perspective and set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, the hunter becomes the prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression – but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their nests to feed. You will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn. Available to rent and buy for PS4 and Xbox One.
