You’re Invited : Unveiling of Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat’s New Visitor Experience
COCHRANE, ON – The Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat will celebrate the official launch of their new exhibits and interactive experiences on Friday, December 12th.
The project, a joint venture between the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat and Science North, courtesy of funding from FedNor and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund, has incorporated exhibits from the Science North produced travelling exhibition, Arctic Voices with video footage, pictures, content and actual bear keeping knowledge from the experts at the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat.
Local media and residents of Cochrane are invited to join in on the excitement and be among the first to see this exciting new visitor experience.

LOCATION: Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat, 1 Drury Pk. Road
The official opening, attended by officials from all partner organizations, will be followed by an Old Fashioned Christmas event for the whole family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All are welcome to take part in the fun, which includes sliding, hot chocolate, apple cider and treats. Good little boys and girls will also enjoy a visit from Santa in the Heritage Village. Cost is $5 per person.
