TERRACE BAY, ON – Township of Terrace Bay shared photos Tuesday, via their Facebook page, of the great turnout for their Remembrance Day ceremony at the municipality’s cenotaph. Cold weather did nothing to deter a large group of residents to join municipal staff, council and local legionnaires and veterans from marking this special occasion and taking time to pay their respects and remember those who served, or continue to serve, our country to protect our rights and freedoms.
The Township included this message with the photos:
“Despite some very chilly conditions, we had an excellent turnout from our residents at the Remembrance Day Ceremony. Many thanks to everyone involved in organizing the event. A heartfelt “Thank You” to all our veterans and military personnel for your contribution to our country!”
