Special weather statement in effect for:
- Nipigon – Rossport
- Beardmore – Jellicoe – Macdiarmid
- Gull Bay – Black Sturgeon Lake
Heavy flurries continuing off Lake Nipigon.
North to northwest winds off Lake Nipigon continue to generate lake effect snow to the south of the lake. The heavier snow appears to be very localized but isolated total amounts up to 15 cm are possible before the flurries weaken today.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.
