MANITOUWADGE, ON – The Manitouwadge Public School seemed to be filled with a ‘hairy’ looking lot on the last school day in November! MPS’s ever busy Student Council organized a Movember Day at MPS which became the cause of some well meaning, and well received, giggles.
The goals, and importance, of the Movember campaign were explained to the students who, though a little too young to grow their own, let their imaginations guide them in creating some marvelous-moustaches. Boys and girls alike were provided with necessary materials to craft their own, stylish, humourous, realistic and even a few one-of-a-kind, moustaches. The students walked around with their Movember masterpieces in various states of array, very proud to show them off!
Another, very memorable, lesson learned at Manitouwadge Public School!
