Back in 2012, the unlikely duo of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum teamed up for a comedy remake called 21 Jump Street. Known more for his roles in romances and action films, Tatum actually held his own alongside funny guy Jonah Hill. It could be said that the chemistry between the two was a big reason why 21 Jump Street became an instant hit earning nearly 140 million dollars at the box office and, soon after, an announcement that there would be a sequel titled 22 Jump Street. Fans responded well to the news and the aforementioned sequel ended up earning an even more robust 191 million dollars in theatre ticket tales.
22 Jump Street is this week’s headline new release in another impressive week featuring seven new releases. Here is a brief synopsis of each new release;
