MANITOUWADGE, ON – In what turned into a see-saw battle, the Trillium Coyotes sunk a three-pointer that turned out to be the winning point in a 33-32 victory over the hometown Wolverines. Down 24-23 at half-time the Wolverines took the lead and led 32-30 with less than two minutes remaining. The Coyotes weren’t phased by this as they came back one more time to steal the win. The Wolverines had several more opportunities but the ball refused to fall in the hoop.

The Coyotes will now play the winner of Michipicoten and Marathon game for the league title later today.
