MPS Parents : Important Dates In October
Manitouwadge Public School reminds parents and students to take note of the following dates.
October 7th – Bus Safety Presentation
Representatives from the OPP and Trottier Bus Lines will be doing a bus safety presentation to all of our students in the morning.
October 13th – Thanksgiving Day
There will be no classes at MPS in recognition of Thanksgiving Day.
October 14th – School Pictures
The photographer will be here in the morning for school pictures.
October 20th – Diabetes Clothesline Pickup
The Diabetes Clothesline group will be here in the morning to pick up your donations of used items. You can drop off your items at the school anytime from 7:30am – 4pm every day. We are asking that your used clothing/items be in smaller garbage bags – in order to facilitate the lifting for our young helpers.
October 21st – Vaccinations
The Thunder Bay District Health Team will be in our building to give vaccinations to the grade 7 students and the grade 8 girls. Permission sheets have gone home for this.
October 23rd – Parent Council Meeting
Manitouwadge Public School Parent Council will meet in our school library at 6pm. We look forward to having parents/guardians come join us.
October 24th – Professional Development Day
Keep in mind that this is a PD day at MPS. There will be no classes.
October 31st -Trick or Treat!
November dates to remember:

- November 4 – SK Vaccinations
