Mayor Gary Nelson Re-elected in Red Rock
RED ROCK, ON – It appears Red Rock residents were quite pleased with the work being done by their Town Council as, in addition to Mayor Gary Nelson being re-elected for another 4 year term, 3 of the 4 councillors from the past council will also continue to represent their community at the council table.
In addition to Nelson, 4 councillors were to be chosen from the nine who had put their name in the hat. Chosen to join Nelson at Red Rock’s council table are incumbents Darquise Robinson (245 votes); Sara Park (219 votes); Steven Carruthers (215 votes) as well as one ‘new’ councillor who was not part of the previous council team: Lewis Martin (197 votes). Congratulations to those chosen to represent the community of Red Rock for the next 4 years.
