TRAPPERS FIELD DAY IS AGAIN OPEN TO ALL
MANITOUWADGE, ON – September 6th, young and old will gather for the Manitouwadge Trappers Field Day at Russell’s Landing. For over 30 years, trappers and their friends and families have spent the first weekend after Labour Day weekend enjoying games, contests and good food in this wilderness setting.
Children enjoy games and prizes while adults also have friendly competitions. Scavenger hunts, log saw contests, water boiling, axe throw, nail driving etc. always make for great family fun. In recent years, the event was opened to anyone wishing to attend this great family event and many joined us for a day of fun and relaxation. Activities begin at 1 pm sharp. A great pig roast dinner is served in the evening.
