Francophones to Celebrate This Thursday
Sept. 25th / Franco-Ontarian Day in Northwestern Ontario
THUNDER BAY, ON – AFNOO (Association of Francophones of Northwestern Ontario) is pleased to invite you to join Franco-Ontarian Day celebrations taking place in your community, September 25th across Northwestern Ontario.
Everyone is welcome! Whether you are of francophone heritage or not, put on some green and white then join the celebrations.

Flag ceremonies at City Halls:
Atikokan, 10 am Beardmore, 10 am
Dryden, 10 am Geraldton, 10 am
Ignace, 1 pm Kenora, 10 am
Longlac, 2 pm Marathon, 10 am
Nakina, 10 am Terrace Bay, 2 pm
- Thunder Bay, 10 am at La Vérendrye school with MHS concert
- Thunder Bay, 9:15 am at Thunder Bay regional health center
- Red Lake, 1:45 pm at Étoiles-du-Nord school
The flag will be also raised (without ceremonies) in Fort Frances, Nipigon, Schreiber.

- 1 to 5pm Thé francophone at Centre de formation pour adultes de Greenstone à Geraldton
- 2 pm Tintamarre in Red Lake
