GREENSTONE, ON – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment are investigating an occurrence of Residential Break and Enter. On August 23, 2014 between 12:00am and 6:00am the garage located at the residence of 104 John Street in the Municipality of Greenstone ward of Longlac was broken into.
The items taken were: one white and orange Stihl Gas Powered Chainsaw which has the guard removed, an orange case which had the letters “CN” written on it in black marker, one black PlayStation 3 with cords and games and some HDMI cables.
Police are asking the public for their assistance in solving this crime. If you have any information that could help police identify the perpetrator(s) please contact the OPP. The OPP would also like to remind the public that property crime and break and enters most often occur at night. If you observe any suspicious persons or activities, please take a moment to report your observations to police. By reporting suspicious activity you can help police in preventing and solving crimes.
