OPP Issue Public Safety Notification RE: High Risk Offender (incl. photo)
KIRKLAND LAKE, ON – The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s help in locating Daniel KIRKEY. An arrest warrant has been issued after he failed to comply with a Recognizance of Bail.
KIRKEY, 55 years old, has 16 criminal convictions, including five (5) for sexual assault with a weapon. His last known address was in Kirkland Lake, Ontario; however he left this residence on or about August 22 or 23, 2014. He does have contacts in the Hamilton and Niagara areas, and may have traveled to this area.
The OPP has reason to believe that this individual may pose a risk to public safety and is asking anyone with any information as to his whereabouts to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
