TERRACE BAY, ON – Chilly conditions couldn’t keep the visitors away as Terrace Bay received an excellent turnout for its annual Lake Superior Day celebration July 20th!
The Township partnered with Parks Canada and EcoSuperior to hold a volunteer beach cleanup and offer free boat charters, kayaking, kids activities and meal deals for visitors. The weather was cooler than usual but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and liked getting out on the water.
This is the fifth year the Township has held the event which, for 2014, included showing off the new waterfront property the municipality recently purchased.
