TYLER’s REVIEW
I’ve been hyping up June’s new releases for quite some time and now the big month has finally here. The major titles start right off the bat with a powerful (and true) war story and a modern day reboot of a classic flick from the past. Some of the ones to watch for this month include; Non-Stop, The Lego Movie, Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Winter’s Tale and 300 Rise of an Empire. There are seven new releases in total this week with a brief write-up on each below;
NEW RELEASES
Lone Survivor: starring Mark Wahlberg – TRUE STORY- A team of soldiers set out on a mission to capture and kill a notorious Taliban leader. After losing contact with their base, the team finds themselves in a desperate fight for survival after falling under heavy enemy fire. Robocop: starring Joel Kinnaman, Michael Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson – Detroit 2028- A cop is critically injured in the line of duty. Seeing this as an opportunity to test a controversial new form of law enforcement, a large corporation uses state of the art technology to transform the officer into RoboCop. Son of God: starring Sebastian Knapp – The story of the of the life of Jesus told from his birth, through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimately resurrection. (Drama/Religion) (DVD and Blu-Ray) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
In the Blood: starring Gina Carano, Cam Gigandet and Danny Trejo – When her husband goes missing during their Caribbean vacation, a woman sets off on her own to take down the men she thinks are responsible. (Action) (DVD) Also available to rent at 2 Doors Down in Manitouwadge!
CNGB: starring Alan Rickman, Malin Akerman and Johnny Galecki – The story of Hilly Kristal’s New York club from its start as a venue for Country, Bluegrass and Blues (CBGB) to what it ultimately became: the birthplace of underground rock ‘n roll and punk. (Drama/Music) (DVD)

Small Time: starring Christopher Meloni and Devon Bostick – A young man decides to skip college in favor of joining his father’s on the lot of his used-car business. (Comedy/Drama) (DVD)

Murdered Soul Suspect: Players assume the role of Ronan as you explore the town of Salem in search of clues regarding the identity of a relentless killer. Battle demonic spirits to save your soul and uncover the shocking revelations about who is responsible for your death. Available to rent or special order for XBOX ONE and PS4.
