There haven’t been many family-friendly, animated, full-length features which have been successful in regards to entertaining kids and adults equally but this week we have on of these precious gems and to make the situation more impressive yet why not throw in the fact that the movie in question is all about toys
Who would’ve thought that Ole Kirk Christiansen was onto such a hit back in 1949. Christiansen is the Danish man responsible for inventing Lego’s- the seemingly timeless toy that has maintained its popularity to this very day. Along with the toys themselves, Lego has also been featured in numerous video games. Now another milestone in the Lego story, a feature film! The Lego Movie opened in theatres on February 7th of this year to much hype and anticipation ultimately leading to a robust box office tally of over 255 million dollars! Making its grand debut on DVD and Blu-Ray this week.
