MANITOUWADGE, ON – Manitouwadge High School Wolverines Briar Hunter and Cody Osiecki were thrilled to return home from the Ontario Federation of Schools Athletic Associations (OFSAA) badminton championships wearing silver medals they claimed in mixed doubles.
The mixed doubles team secured their silver with a gymnasium full of supporters, having travelled from across the GTA, cheering them on. Unfortunately next year, Hunter will have to find a new partner as Osiecki will be attending Fanshaw College in London, Ontario this fall “The hunt for a partner for next year is on!” said Hunter looking forward to the 2015 badminton season. Congratulations to both on their impressive showing at the provincial championship!
