Spring is here! Spring is here! Spring is definitely here and I do so hope it is here to stay! That vaunted patience is just about all gone.
Friday, June 6th, take care of yourself (or bring a loved one) for our Blood Pressure Clinic with Norma Kauk. We’re also expecting Renee Mellish, the Diabetes Counsellor from LDHC to drop-in to answer any questions regarding blood sugar concerns and the many ramifications of that for diet and life style.
Wednesday June 11th, there is the business of June’s Executive elections. They will be held on after the regular general meeting. If you are a member, please come to support the people who will be running the Wawa Goose Seniors’ Club for the next two years or better yet have someone nominate you for one of the positions. New faces and new ideas are a good thing. When someone calls to ask if you are interested in standing for office, please accept the call to action and just say yes! The following positions will need to be filled: president, first vice-president, second vice-president, treasurer and secretary.
Sunday, June 22nd is the next big thing at the club – our June Pot Luck Social. Come over about 4:30pm and we will get to the good stuff about 5pm. We certainly do have great “good stuff”!
