MANITOUWADGE, ON – The three ‘R’s’ of education will always be a vital part of our lives but another very important aspect of the growing years is the physical part. At Manitouwadge Public School, our students enjoy a very extensive education in the classroom, outdoors and in life skills.

FROM THE EDITOR: Without CanSkate or other beginner-skating program in Manitouwadge, many kids would never have the opportunity to learn were it not for the elementary schools’ visits to the arena!
Our students are seen here enjoying their day out of the classroom as they take part in curling and skating. On the ice our little ones are proud as punch to be able to just stay upright, even with a little help from a chair. The grade 6, 7 and 8 students enjoy curling as part of their curriculum topping it off with a fun mini bonspiel.
At MPS our students enjoy a varied balance of exercise and learning – which are an integral for the health of young growing minds and bodies.
