SCHREIBER, ON – Mrs. Roy, Mr. Fenton & the Grades 5-8 class’ of Holy Angels School recently enjoyed an outing many among them described as “The time of their life!”.
The Grade 5-8 class had snowshoes provided by the Superior North Catholic District School Board, on-hand to use from February 10th – 28th.
Tuesday, February 25th the students began on their adventure snowshoeing 2 km up the Casque Isles Trail until they made it to the scenic lookout that over looks Schreiber Beach. The students had a snack and then retraced their steps on the trail home. The 2km long walk was much more strenuous, and felt significantly longer, on the return journey mostly do to because of their tired muscles, but all the students made it and they all had an unbelievable time!
