Terrace Bay Announces New CAO/Clerk
TERRACE BAY, ON – February 3rd, 2014 the Township of Terrace Bay released a statement announcing the Mr. Jon Hall’s appointment to the position of Chief Administrative Officer / Clerk. The Township began the search to fill this position in mid December as the previous CAO, Carmello Nortabartolo, was beginning a new carreer path as the Manager of the Nawiingokino Forest Management Corporation.
Jody Davis, Mayor for the Township of Terrace Bay is very excited about the team they are moving forward with “We have a solid team in Terrace Bay and were looking for someone that would work well with our staff and moving our Community forward. Our interviews showed Jon Hall as a detail oriented, professional administrator with a vision for the future that complemented our own. We believe Jon Hall will be a fine addition to the Municipality and look forward to him guiding our organization through its challenges and taking advantage of the numerous opportunities we see coming up for Terrace Bay.”
Jon has six years of experience in Municipal government with the past four years at his most recent position as the Clerk for the Township of Schreiber. He has significant experience with the economies of Northwestern Ontario and understands the issues facing the Township of Terrace Bay. Jon is expected to take over as the new Chief Administrative Officer / Clerk in March 2014.
