Hip Hip Hurray! It’s The 100th Day!
SCHREIBER, ON – February 10th marked the 100th day of school at Holy Angels School and many classes celebrated to mark their progress to date this school year. Here is what some of the children enjoyed for the special day:
100th day : Grade 1/2 Class
The grade 1/2 class celebrated the number 100 all day long. Students came to school with red capes decorated with 100 items. We got to be 100th day superheroes! The grade 1/2’s made a trail mix composed of snacks in groups of 10. To finish the day each student wrote about what it would be like if there were 100 years old. We even drew what we thought we would look like at 100.
100th day : Kindergarten Class
The Kindergarten class, at Holy Angels School, has been counting the days since the first day of school and they finally made it to the 100th day. The class spent the day making hats with 100 stickers, going on a hunt around the school for numbers 1 to 100, making necklaces with 100 beads, and sorting their treats in to 10 groups of 10 to count by 10’s to 100 before eating them up. By the end of the day the Kindergarten were happy, exhausted and proud to be 100 days smarter!
