THUNDER BAY, ON – A member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from North West Region has been charged following an investigation by the members of the Kenora OPP Detachment.
An investigation was initiated following an incident that occurred in Kenora on December 28, 2013. As a result of the investigation, the OPP has charged a 24 year member from the Kenora Detachment. He was not on duty at the time of the incident.
Provincial Constable Steve TETREAULT, age 45, was charged with one count of Theft Under $5000.
The accused who is currently on leave will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on February 13, 2014.
