MANITOUWADGE, ON – Recently our Student Council spearheaded a very generous project for our school. They ran a ‘challenge’ for individual classrooms to bring in a non-perishable food item for our local food bank. Every classroom donated quite impressively. In the photos above and below, we see four members of our Student Council presenting the food to representatives from the Manitouwadge Food Bank. This is one of the many ways our students at MPS continue to open their hearts to those in our community who are less fortunate. Contributing to the community in this way helps ensure students realize the value and rewards of assisting locally while helping to keep this very important program operating in our town. Once again – another job well done at MPS!
