Live from the Rock 2014 Slogan Contest
Plans are moving full steam ahead for the 12th annual Live from the Rock Folk Festival to be held August 8-10, 2014 in Red Rock, along the shores of beautiful Lake Superior. The festival is once again inviting the public to submit a slogan to brand 2014’s event. The winner will receive two weekend passes for the 2014 festival.
The logo design for the festival’s marketing materials is based on the winning slogan, so the winner will see their creativity in action all weekend long. Winning entries from the past include “Meet the Folkers”, “All You Need is Folk” as well as the 2013 winner “Forever Folk!”. The festival website, www.LiveFromTheRockFolkFestival.com, provides detailed information on the festival as well as pictures from past years to serve as inspiration for all those who want to enter.
The contest begins Friday, January 17 and entries will be accepted until Friday, January 31. The winning slogan will be voted on by the Live from the Rock Board of Directors and the winner will be contacted once the decision has been made.
Contest entries may be submitted by email to: lftrslogancontest2014@gmail.com In addition to an original slogan idea, all entries should include the creator’s name.
