TERRACE BAY, ON – The students, staff, families and friends of St. Martin School and École Catholique Franco Terrace participated in another wonderful Holy Childhood Day on Friday, November 29.
The Holy Childhood is a charitable organization whose motto is “Children Helping Children”. They operate in countries all over the world helping to improve the needs of the children. We have been members of this organization for many years and we continue to enjoy helping them in their work. This day is our annual, Advent, fundraiser for the Holy Childhood and it really is a festival celebration. Each class organizes an event and we spend the afternoon in the gym moving from one activity to another. This is a day that we all look forward to with excitement and it was very successful again this year. With the prices of items ranging from 10 to 50 cents we raised almost $600.
Well done everyone for your ideas, your work and your spirit of giving.
