TERRACE BAY, ON – To know that we are living and raising our children in a community who cares about and supports all members is truly a miracle and one that we should be proud to be a part of.
October 30th St. Martin School held a bake sale to support one of our school families, the Massier’s, during a very difficult and challenging time following the birth of their youngest son, Chase. The overwhelming amount of baking that arrived at the school prior to this event was extraordinary; it was dropped off by parents, students, staff, parish members, as well as both Terrace Bay and Schreiber residents.
In one short hour the number of people that visited our sale was astonishing, but the most remarkable thing was that through this simple bake sale we were able to collect $1,172. Along with the Dress Down Funds collected by the Superior North Catholic DSB Board Office staff and the St. Martin School staff we were able to present this family with $1572.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported in this very worthwhile fundraiser!
