Oh the Places MPS Students May Go!

MANITOUWADGE, ON– At the beginning of the school year, Mrs. McLoed did a lesson with the students in Grades 2 through 5, using the book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” by Dr.Seuss to encourage and motivate them. The fictional story helping to inspire students to become successful in whatever it is that they choose in life.
The book also included the ‘lows’ that one might experience in life and how each of us needs to rise over and above the stumbling blocks that are met along the way. The book was a great read to engage the students in learning and their future as they looked ahead to a year of new experiences, lessons and challenges. It also inspired some classroom art, as pictured above, reinforcing the messages students hear often at Manitouwadge Public School.
