BREAK AND ENTER SUSPECT CHARGED SCHREIBER
SCHREIBER, ON – September 30, 2013 at approximately 4:00 p.m. members of the Schreiber Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter at a residence in the Town of Schreiber. An unknown person had entered a residence and numerous items were stolen.
While investigating the break and enter, officers received a call to assist the Canadian Pacific Railway to remove a male trespassing on a train. Officers attended the location of the train and removed the unwanted male. Further investigation found the male to be in possession of property reported stolen from a Schreiber residence.
The 29 year old male from Fort Severn First Nation, Ontario was arrested and has been charged with:
- Break and Enter,
- two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000,
- Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code.
The male is to appear in Schreiber Court on February 27, 2014 to answer to these charges.
