TRAPPERS FIELD DAY IS AGAIN OPEN TO ALL
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Saturday, September 7th, young and old will gather for the annual Manitouwadge Trappers Field Day at Russell’s Landing. For over 30 years, trappers and their friends and families have spent the first weekend after Labour Day enjoying games, contests and good food in this wilderness setting. Children enjoy games and prizes while adults also have friendly competitions. Scavenger hunts, log saw contests, water boiling, axe throw, nail driving etc always make for great family fun. It is a great time to share stories and tips about the nature that surrounds us.
For the past few years, the event was opened to anyone wishing to attend this great family event and many joined us for a day of fun and relaxation. Activities begin at 1 pm.
