Franco Ontarian Day in Terrace Bay
TERRACE BAY, ON – Partners Ecole Catholique Franco-Terrace, Superior North CFDC, and the Township of Terrace Bay raised the Franco-Ontarian Flag yesterday celebrating Francophone holiday “Franco-Ontarian Flag Day” celebrated each September on the 25th.
Franco-Ontarian food specials and other traditional French Canadian items were also served at local francophone owned businesses Roy Pizzeria & Subs and the Terrace Bay Bakery to recognize this special day.
FROM THE EDITOR: 2013 marked the 38th anniversary of the Francophone flag used by those in the province of Ontario to represent their community.
