Schreiber Railway Museum Family Picnic A Community Collaboration

SCHREIBER, ON – August 1st the Schreiber Railway Museum hosted a Family Picnic partly as a fundraiser, but mostly as an event to showcase the museum. Local talent performed throughout the event ensuring there was never a dull moment and attendees were thouroughly entertained!

The staff as well as Parks Canada organized the event. The Schreiber Recreation Committee hosted a BBQ, and visitors were welcome to the back of the train, where a bake sale, live entertainment and kids games were found.

The event was very successful, and everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the day.

We are very thankful for the volunteers, the Schreiber Recreation Committee, the Schreiber Public Library, Parks Canada, our local talents and everyone who helped make the event possible.
