Continuing the discussion about rural land use
The conference “Exploring Rural Land Use” held earlier this year was the catalyst for several discussions and articles about rural land issues and trends.

The Institute for the Advanced Study of Food and Agricultural Policy will soon be busy planning the third annual conference. It will be held in Guelph during early April 2014. Stay tuned for the date and an announcement of the topic.
Exploring Rural Land Use was held in May 2013. The conference was presented by the Institute for the Advanced Study of Food and Agricultural Policy, based in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Guelph. The mission of the Institute is to provide independent, credible, and timely policy analysis with respect to socially significant food and agricultural issues.
