NIPIGON, ON – July 9, 2013 at 12:10 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Nipigon detachment received a call of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, Township of Corrigal. The driver of an east bound motor vehicle, a Volvo automobile, lost control causing the vehicle to roll numerous times before coming to rest on the passenger side.
The 25 year old female driver and the 27 year old male passenger of North Bay, Ontario, were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Thunder Bay for injuries sustained in the collision.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
