TERRACE BAY/SCHREIBER, ON – Neighbouring Northshore communities challenged each other Wednesday in their annual FUN RUNs, to see which would have the most participating residents and, this year based on percentage of population – it was a tie as each had 23% of their population participating!
And the WINNER IS - no wait, they're tied! Both communities had 23% of residents participate in this week's Fun Run, CONGRATUALTIONS! Photos courtesy Twp Terrace Bay
FUN RUN Results 2013
- Terrace Bay (pop. 1,473) – 350
- Schreiber (pop. 1,126) – 265
Congratulations to both communities and all those who participated.
Down the highway, the neighbouring community of Manitouwadge also held it’s annual Fun Run this week, in spite of the event being included as a Pit Stop for the Amazing Walk II Challenge (45 teams required to have at least one member participate), a total 163 participants completed the walk representing approximately 7.7% of the community(slightly down from 2012).
