The teams participated in a number of activities, including: Fire Brigade, Over and Under, Big Ball Soccer, Freezie Station, etc. Each team also created and presented a team cheer which they shared with all!

TERRACE BAY, ON – Monday, May 27th the School Council from St. Martin School and Holy Angels School collaborated to host the first annual, KIDS GOT TALENT.
The evening began with motivational speaker, Katie Weatherston who offered an interactive and fun-filled presentation where students, parents, and staff learned how to set and achieve their goals and how to maintain a positive attitude even when faced with obstacles. Katie shared highlights of her Olympic Gold Medal Women’s hockey experience and how she has been able to achieve success despite setbacks and injuries that have ultimately ended her sports career. She encouraged the children to know that they can accomplish anything that they set their minds to; needing only to “Follow their Dream”.
Following this the students from St. Martin, Holy Angels, and Ecole Franco Terrace shared their talents in the Arts through dance, piano, guitar, song, painting, drawing, and sculpting. Who would have believed that this extraordinary talent was hidden all along in our small little communities?
Stay tuned for our second Kids Got Talent in 2014!
