Services in French: a Repertory for Northwestern Ontario
Thunder Bay, Monday, June 13, 2013 – L’Association des francophones du Nord-Ouest de l’Ontario -AFNOO ensures the development and prosperity of Francophone (French speakers) communities in Northwestern Ontario – in the economic field – and is creating a new Repertory of businesses offering French services in the region.
“The last Repertory was issued in 1998 and it was time to update this wonderful tool. The present one has been thought to include touristic and general information to attract investors, workers, families in Northwestern Ontario and to develop and grow businesses offering French services” said Martin Douville, Economic Development and Tourism Officer.
AFNOO is the opening door to French businesses who want to develop their company and offer services in French; and to other businesses who want to gain a French market. Offering French services is an important asset in Northwestern Ontario. This Repertory is FREE and provides a great visibility for businesses that want to appear in it.
AFNOO is looking for any business or entrepreneur that would like to be part of this Repertory, and is calling for anyone able to answer YES to at least one of the following:
- Do you have documentation in French like brochures, reports, and/or menus?
- Do you have a web site? And does it have French pages?
- Is there someone in your business, in your office able to speak French?
- If not, is it possible to have French services upon request?
Local French speaking artists wanted to illustrate the front page of this Repertory through a contest and a prize.
