Dear Mr. Caron,
This is in response to your letter dated 3 June 2013 in which North Superior Broadcasting Ltd. requests to withdraw the above-mentioned application, and confirms that CFNO-FM’s studio will remain in Marathon, Ontario.
Accordingly, the Commission will not proceed with the above noted application. As such, this application is now considered closed.
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
Yours sincerely,

There were no details regarding how CFNO-fm would choose to move forward whether there might yet be changes in spite of the station remaining in Marathon, never-the-less this is certainly good news to 286 people who submitted letters to the CRTC regarding the move [CLICK HERE to view archived letters on CRTC website].
