Welcome back Red Rock Youth Soccer!
RED ROCK ON – Soccer has been absent in Red Rock for many years and children in Red Rock are so thankful Chantal Olson and Kristen Maenpaa have organized youth soccer this year. These two ladies were able to organize registration, recruit over all the volunteer coaches, organize a coaching clinic, a field location and equipment purchases. The season has been kicked off with huge success. Red Rock Youth soccer has attracted over 75 registrants ages 2 – 13. Red Rock Youth Soccer league wants to emphasis on learning the sport in a positive and fun atmosphere. Red Rock Youth Soccer wants to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, build self-esteem, sportsmanship and leadership skills.
Chantal, Kristen and all the Red Rock Youth Soccer participants would like to thank the following for their support: Canadian Tire in Nipigon for donating soccer balls, Hugh and Tania from the Nipigon Youth Soccer Club for their experience and guidance, Carmen from CND Sports for his donation and a special thanks to Emanuel and his father Frank for coming from Thunder Bay to assist the coaches.
