WAWA, ON – June 6th, 2013, The Economic Development Corporation of Wawa is hosting Wawa’s Funders Forum in the Michipicoten Memorial Centre at 3 Chris Simon Drive. The event will begin at 9:00am run till 3:30pm.
At this event representatives from various funding organizations will present their programs and inform the audience of different funding opportunities available to individuals, business, and not-for-profit organizations. Organizations represented at the Funders Forum fund projects that fall in a wide range of categories: arts and culture to entrepreneurship to technology and community infrastructure development. In addition, The EDC of Wawa is proud to announce that Bruce Strapp, NOHFC executive director, will be the event’s keynote speaker.
The Funders Forum is targeted at mayors, councillors, CAOs, community leaders, and economic development organizations of the Superior East region; however, members of the public are also welcome to attend and listen to the presentations.
This event is made possible by the support of Algoma Power Inc., Superior East Community Futures Development Corporation, Infrastructure Ontario, and the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre.
