THREADS ~ Your Community Closet Moves
MANITOUWADGE, ON – May 27th, Donna Jalbert-Gilles and her helpers were wrapping up the move of Threads to Shebandowan Drive, the previous location of the Manitouwadge Learning Centre.
The gently used clothing and housewares store will continue to be a fundraiser for the Manitouwadge Museum however, with this new location at ground level, they will be able to welcome everyone who is interested in shopping for great deals (the stairs in their previous location were an issue for many people). The new location also has much more of a “retail” layout complete with a large front window to dress.
Donna thanked Gail Issacs, Melissa and Lorenzo Gionet, Abby, and Giselle for their assistance with the move adding in her post to the store’s Facebook wall that “I was so blessed with their help. THREADS move would NOT have happened if not for them. It is so good to have family and friends so willing to put themselves out and be such a huge help. Thank you again guys.”
As of June 1st, Thread’s Summer Hours are in effect the store will be open:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Noon to 5pm
- Saturday 10am-2pm
