TERRACE BAY, ON– The Terrace Bay 302 Endurance Sea Cadet Corps, along with 900 Air Cadet Squadron from Marathon, will conduct an Annual Ceremonial Review at 4 Beach Road in Terrace Bay on Sunday June 2nd, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
The Annual Review is conducted yearly as an official close to the cadet training year and serves as an occasion to celebrate the cadets’ accomplishments. There will be approximately 25 Sea and Air Cadets on parade before they pause for summer break when some cadets will attend various Cadet Summer Training Centres across the country. This year is particularly special as 302 Sea Cadet Corps is celebrating their 25th anniversary and the Reviewing Officer is a native of Marathon, Brigadier-General Omer Lavoie. Brig.-Gen. Lavoie is the Commander of Joint Task Force Central and Land Force Central Area and is based out of Toronto.
Local residents are invited to come out to view the parade and to attend the social which will follow the parade where there will be static displays and refreshments.
