MANITOUWADGE, ON – The littlest people at Manitouwadge Public School were busy little beavers recently preparing a lunch for their special person in honor of Mother’s Day!
Students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 2 had been preparing for days proving that even toilet paper rolls can evolve into beautiful flower arrangements; making plain old cups into personalized treasures for mom; making cookies (with not even one little taste test– honest!); creating artistic place mats; and on the final day making sandwiches.

The students’ excitement was almost too much to contain as they loaded up the plates and headed to the gym for the final event in the afternoon. The little ones were very proud of giving their Moms the “royal treatment” – quite evident by the smiles on their faces during the entire Mother’s Day Tea!
