Marathon Mixed Softball League Fun Tourney Kicks-off 2013 Season

Thanks to John Hooper Sr. for providing the highlights (below) from this weekend’s Fun Tourney of the Marathon Mixed Softball League! OntarioNewsNorth.com is still seeking someone to cover this season with the league, contact Editor Karina Hunter if you are a softball or sports buff who is interested in attending the games (several/week) to take photos or video and collect results.

Friday

Crossover Video held off a late rally from the Outlaws to win 18–17. Nathan Davis and Craig Chernski homered for Crossover. Tyler Davis got the win.

Jagerbombers came back to defeat Brokerlink 16-10. Rob Joy with a grand slam homer in the win, and got the win pitching.

Saturday

9am: Masterbatters beat Barrick 27-7 as Paul Bain hit 3 home runs, Pat Bananish with 2 in the win.

1030am: Mobert vs. Outlaws

12pm: Jagerbombers tied Crossover 12-12 as Nathan Davis hit 2 home runs for Crossover, while Rob Joy hit one for Jagerbombers. Jon Fisher and Rob Joy were the pitchers.

130pm: Brokerlink vs. Masterbatters Paul Bain with 2 home runs.

3pm: Crossover Defeated Mobert 19-6 as Nathan Davis hit a home run for the win while Chris Bananish hit one in a losing cause. Jon Fisher picked up the win, while Tanya Desmoulin got the loss.

430pm: Barrick vs. Brokerlink

6pm: Masterbatters defeated Outlaws 13-6 as Paul Bain hit 2 home runs.

730pm: Jagerbombers defeated Mobert 27-7.
