Prize Winner Challenges Community To Make Her Give Up Winnings!

MANITOUWADGE, ON – During February, OntarioNewsNorth.com On The Road promoted a $250 cash give-a-way contest in honour of Valentine’s Day, March 7th a live draw was streamed online and the lucky winner of the $250 cash prize was Jackie Jung (during the broadcast, we also gave away two tickets to Nite on the Town presents The Lost Fingers won by Cathy Clark).
Jackie is a long-time volunteer on the executive of the Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group and, after some discussion with her husband Ron, decided that what better use could they make of some unexpected cash then to donate to a worthy cause so the couple decided they would like to donate the $250 to the MCAG. After a night to sleep on it however Jackie decided that while it would be great to donate $250 to the local non-profit which provides support for those affected by cancer, it would be even better if she could somehow grow the money and so, she decided to challenge readers of OntarioNewsNorth.com…
During the month of April, for every donation made to the Manitouwadge Cancer Assistance Group Jackie will match the amount from her ONN Give-a-way winnings, up to the total of $250.00! So, if while you’re reading this you think, hey, I could donate $5 or $10 or even $20 to the MCAG well, if you to, it will be matched by Jackie to double the donation (5 becomes 10, 10 becomes 20, 20 becomes 40 and so on). The only question that remains is how long will it take Manitouwadge residents to go through Jackie’s entire $250 prize?
