SCHREIBER, ON – Wednesday, March 6, 2013, Holy Angels School hosted a Science Fair for students from . The students hypothesised, tested and presented wonderful projects on many interesting topics which included: structures, magnets, electricity and liquids – to name a few. Winners from each division were as follows:
JUNIOR
- 1st place – Connor Gionet and Ian Bottomley – Hydroelectricity
- 2nd place – Micheal Costa & Liam Speziale – Electricity
- 3rd place – Erik Speziale – Matter
INTERMEDIATE
- 1st place – Alex Halonen & Jonathan Mayry – Ice Ice Baby
- 2nd place – Faith Bell-Valentino – Bread Mold
- 3rd Place – Amber Gionet & Domenic Costa – Extreme Lava
The SNCDSB 2013 Board Wide Science Fair will be held in Geraldton on May 1st. 1st and 2nd place winners have now qualified to represent Holy Angels, GOOD LUCK to you all and CONGRATULATIONS to all those whose projects were successful at the school science fair!
