The Manitouwadge Family Health Team’s “The Amazing Race Walk” in the spring of 2012 was an enormous success!

• 318 participants registered in total, that’s 53 teams!
• 47 teams (or 282 participants) ranging in ages from seven to 75 finished the walk!

 The Amazing Walk is a tremendous success in that it brought people together not only as individuals to improve their personal health and well-being, but it brought people together as a team, highlighting the social aspect of healthy living to reduce social isolation and create/reinforce community.

The MFHT will be host the Amazing Walk II beginning April 28^th, 2013 which will run over a course of 8-weeks. Once again, participants and fans will be able to find details, updates, photos, videos and more on OntarioNewsNorth.com and our direct www.AmazingWalk.info page.
